Start with the Dallas County online case search at dallascounty.org. You can search by case number, party name, attorney name, or date range. The system covers all district courts in Dallas County, including family courts. Records are available from 1979 to the present for most case types. Document downloads cost a fee, but basic case status and docket information is free.
